Safer Black Friday

Last year a crowd trampled a worker to death at one of the Walmart stores, this year round, Walmart has developed a new plan with the help of experts who have handled crowds at major events such as the SuperBowl and the Olympics. It seems Walmart has gotten really serious about everyone's safety this year round. We should all cooperate.

I think it's a good idea that Walmart has upped its security measures in order to protect the safety of both its shoppers and its employees. I remember the last time I was in a Black Friday sale, and it was not very fun. People are crazy enough already, and a very good sale is just more reason for people get crazier than they typically are. I would highly encourage other superstores to follow in Walmart's footsteps in preventing potential lawsuits and/or physical injury to shoppers and employees.

Why can't people just shop what they want online?

Superstores should make shipping free.

Of course, items like sofas require a shipping fee, but that fee needs to be paid for even if it's ordered in the store anyways.

Well...as long as people cooperate, its all good...but if they don't, then we got trouble.

Black Friday is a crazy day for shoppers and for employees of the stores. I had to work on black friday last year for cathy jean, and it is so crazy! The people come into the store and things just start getting chaotic. I agree that more stores should do what Walmart is doing to insure safer shopping. It seems ridiculous that things can get so dangerous that people trample over a worker and kill him.

I remember this! It was so crazy. It's a good idea that Walmart has improved their security measures to protect the safety of their customers and employees. Black Friday is so intense. Other stores should do the same.

How crazy can people be... They seem to care more about shopping sometimes than other people.
I agree, it's great that they are developing a plan so the same events don't happen again.
Shopping is supposed to be a fun experience and it should never be associated with death. It must have been a tremendous shock to the family of the person who died.
