irony of U2 wall

Today, in Berlin, there was a free U2 concert in celebtration of the 2oth aniversery of the fall of the Berlin wall. 10,000 people who got tickets free tickets online, but the rest of the public the view of the concert was blocked because of a 2 meter high barrier.
"Both Berliners and tourists alike saw the irony in building a wall around a concert dedicated to the wall that already has come down". Although trivial it is ironic...

hahahaha Bono is just so politically savvy here. ANY other barrier would have been acceptable but a wall? really Bono? Well I'll give him credit for wearing those ridiculous sunglasses while making a political statement even if it wasn't intended.

This is definately ironic, in a somewhat funny way. I am suprised that someone didnt say anything about the way before the actual concert. I definately never would have imagined U2 would make an accidental political statement.

This is so funny, but quite ironic at the same time. I agree with Rachel. I would expect someone to say something before the concert. Haha Seth, "wearing those ridiculous sunglasses while making a political statement even if it wasn't intended."
