Due to a new health care law, free contraception for women is a goal in plain view. A panel of experts have advised the government to take preventative measures against pregnancy by offering free birth control to all women. Many public health experts believe that by making contraception more available the abortion rate will fall, thus saving the government more money by almost totally eliminating the risky procedure.
Debates have sparked from multiple religious representatives on the subject. The Catholic Church has expressed outrage on the subject of the "morning after" pill also being free of cost to the public. They labeled it not as a birth control drug, but an abortion drug.
What are your thoughts and opinions on the subject?

In my opinion, this new free contraception is nothing but positive. Some religions may see it is immoral, but to me, there's nothing wrong with using a method to PREVENT pregnancy. They're not talking about abortion, where an actual human life is being terminated. This is merely a method of preventing pregnancy from happening in the first place.
I agree with Tiffany...if people reallly are in a sexual relationship but dont' have the means to support a family yet financially, it is better to just do this rather than get pregnant and add another child to foster care where it is not all too great for the child or to abort, which I must say is the last resort option that I don't agree with...so take a pill...it's better, and you can still have a intimate relationship without any production of children!
