California court rules illegal immigrants can pay in-state tuition

I thought this article was interesting due to price discrimination esp. for colleges.

Although I can see why some would argue that immigrants should pay out of state tuition, I think the court made the right decision. Illegal immigrants actually are an integral part of our economy by taking jobs that nobody else wants and they deserve the right to try and make life better for themselves as if they were citizens.

I must agree with Nichole on this one, illegal immigrants should be allowed to pay in-state tuition because they are in the process of getting legal immigration status and have attended school in California. However, I do see that it is unfair to some U.S. citizens because they cannot obtain this type of tuition and they actually are legal citizens.

I agree with the comments above about how the court made the right choice. I think that it is reasonable for people who are already in the process of legalization to pay in state tuition. This could open the door for many undocumented immigrants who want to have a better life here in the US without having to pay an extremely high price.
By the way, these people are undocumented immigrants, they are not illegal :).

I do believe that illgeal immigrants should pay in-state tuition, becuse they are a valuable party of our economy in Califonia eventhouhgt people might not realize it. This just add's one more step to help them becomming well educated Americans.
