I think your idea makes sense that if everyone starts wasting less, then we can really make a difference. However, i found a blog by an author named Derrick Jensen and he basically states that he doesn't believe that personal change will influence much since we are in a double blind. "A double bind is where you’re given multiple options, but no matter what option you choose, you lose, and withdrawal is not an option." Interesting..

I'm not sure if anyone else sees the same thing, but there seems to be a technical error with this post.

It's not showing up. All I see is the "Untitled" as the title; everything else is blank.

I thought I saw something about toilet paper on here.....and then when I finished my post and returned to the page, it was gone. Am I going loco?

You're not alone Phoebe.

No Phoebe, you're not going loco.

I originally had a post about toilet paper and how the comfortable quilted softness everyone loves is bad for the enviornment because it uses more trees and older trees. It included a link to last nights Colbert Report too, but about 5 minutes after I published it I realized that it did not really have to do with national affairs.

So then I quickly went back to the blog and it turns out you cannot delete posts after you write them so the only thing I could do was "edit" it and remove everything I wrote, leaving an empty post.

I thought I was quick enough to cover everything up before anyone noticed, but I guess not. I will now proceed to writing a more appropriate post. Sorry for any trouble I've caused.

Not everything in this blog HAVE to be about government. Mr.Silton said it was okay to digress every once in a while.
