Whats happening with who?

And it is another debate about techers! Three days ago Secretary of Education Arne Duncan established that he was going to be pushing for reforms to push and teach the teachers how to teach! Amazing when it comes to us students thinking about how some of the teachers teach, but I dont believe that the government should be focusing on how teachers teach. The MAIN concern should be budgets. Schools are going through difficult times right now and think this should be less of their concern. I mean yeah some teachers do need a little help but in this situation as long as we are being tought that is what should matter! Dont you think?H belives that the budget should be split into two. One training and the other one learning! Crazy! One situtation should be dealt with at a time! What are your thoughts about this?

The main issure now is not how to better prep teachers to teach better in classrooms. Even if a teacher is really professional and experineced at teaching, what difference would it make if teachers were laid off? Being able to have good teachers at schools are already fortunate. Why push it over the limit?

The budget definitely doesn't need to be split in two. Teachers being laid off need to be focused on before we decide who can teach and who cannot.

The main concern as far as education is concerned are resources for learning. The government should not be so concerned with teaching teachers how to teach. There is a reason that teachers have their job - they are doing something right, obviously.

If the government wants to actually split the budget, then I agree with you, Sabina. One situation should be focused on one at a time.
