...oh hey nelia

i don't know if it's just me but i find this a little sad. the election season is over, and Obama/Biden came out on top. McCain and Palin are probably already depressed that they lost. It seems a little funny to me that SNL is still poking fun at sarah palin. Yes, I'll admit that she is an easy target in so many ways, but I am starting to feel bad for her? The poor woman probably just wants to be left alone for a little bit, and quite frankly, Palin acting as the butt of all the jokes is getting a little old. I think all the viewers have the wink, "yannoe," and Katie Couric jokes all figured out.

There were a couple of funny moments. Mainly just the winking parts though haha. I'm still a little surprised that a comedy show would be so political. I mean, on this blog alone, there have been what..? A good 5 at least. Probably more. I would think it's a very thin line to walk. It's almost like they don't mind angering the politicians. Although, they did make fun of Sarah Palin a lot, and she still went on their show.

My point is... that yeah, like Sarah said, some of the jokes are getting really, really old. The first few skits were funny and entertaining, and now they're just not anymore.

Time for SNL to get some new material.

I miss those funny Tina Fey times. =(

Now that Sarah Palin is gone, I see SNL is gradually moving their target to Biden, but the jokes seem a little stretched. Well, I guess there aren't many jokes that can be made about president-elect Obama.

Is this political segment done every week? Although I appreciate how SNL can make politics more interesting, I think they should only do it when there's significant material that can be used. I don't think much that can really be made fun of happened since the last skit and this one (or they didn't mention it at least), so the jokes were just based off Palin instead of some other gaffe of Biden for example, which seems a little biased.

Oh well. I still like SNL comedy. Thanks Nelia!

I saw it Saturday, and although it was hilarious, it seems as though SNL is scrambling for material now that Palin is gone...
