Election: 4pm Exit Polls

Now exit polls are not always accurate, but for now it's all we have.
So far, Obama has potentially secured Vermont, and McCain has gotten Kentucky. Indiana and Virgina are too close to call.
Indiana is 50% McCain, 49% Obama.
Virgina is 53% McCain, 46% Obama.
We are toying with the idea of updating every hour or so.
Any comments so far?

Wait i am getting a little confused with the map. Is the percent precincts reporting the polls that have not reported or the percent left that has to report? or neither?
I am pretty excited that Obama seems to be in the lead so far, although, the states in the midwest area have yet to show their exit poll results...they usually go republican i think so maybe they could put McCain in the lead. (hopefully not). Obama seems to be winning some of the swing states, but i am excited to see how it all turns out.

Precincts: A subdivision or district of a city or town under the jurisdiction of or patrolled by a specific unit of its police force.

I think it is the voting sample that the pollsters use to estimate the outcome of the state. I think the precidents noted on the map are the % that they used to estimate.
