The new oil minister in Iraq has announced that oil exports that are from the Kurdish region of Iraq will resume as part of the national oil export policy even though Baghdad has argued that the oil they have is part of the natural resources owned by the central government. Baghdad has considered the oil deals that the Kurd's made with Western countries illegal but the Kurd's still continue with their deals.
By next year, the Kurd's are planning on exporting about 150,000 barrels of oil a day, which is good because oil prices can be expected to decrease allowing individuals to spend more money on other goods rather than the bulk of it on gas.
