Wikileaks has released a video of U.S. soldiers opening fire with large caliber guns on, seemingly unprovoked, Iraqi civilians in am Iraqi suburb. Wikileaks claims that this is a cover-up by the military because it was not released by the Freedom of Information Act.
Wikileaks, for those who don't know, is a site dedicated to revealing misconduct by the military and government that are not released by them themselves.
I'm hoping we have some government conspiracy theorists in our class.

Aren't they? I've watched recent videos of people in the military shooting dogs in the legs to watch them run in circles and fall. There were some who shoot at civilians families. There was on particular one where seven soldiers were standing in a high building and shooting at the cars down below. There was a baby crying the whole time...
I agree, I usually dont see these type of videos on the news. I thnk that people should publicize more often the misconduct of the military
the military spins these things to not seem as bad, and that site spins it to make it look worse.......do you think that the site wouldnt cut out video footage of what the people mightve done to provoke the attack? i think theres not a chance that such footage would be shown. each side spins the story, its up to you to analyze and figure out what to believe and what not to believe. To figure out what the difference between what they're saying, and what the mean is. To figure out what they are obligated to state, and whats really the whole story. this applies to every facet of your lives, whether its social, political, or anything else.
