Justin Bieber Gets a Range Rover for 16th Birthday

A few weeks ago, 16 year old Justin Bieber celebrated his birthday in L.A. His party included all the "sweet 16" birthday goodies including a brand new Range Rover from his producer Usher.

Wow... he doesn't even have his license, and he already gets a brand new car! How lucky! When I first heard about it, I thought to myself like "WHAT he gets a brand new Range Rover when he can't even drive yet!!" At first I get the impression of him being a "spoiled teenager," but then again, I guess it's a little different in the music industry. Justin Bieber has made millions of dollars off his albums/songs... so I guess it's fine for a producer to give a Range Rover as a birthday present to his client that's made millions.

Justine Bieber is a girl. She doesn't deserve that Range Rover. She doesn't even have her license! Also, it wasn't her hard work that got her to where she is right now. It was all Disney's popularity. Look at Miley Cyrus. She has no talent yet look at how popular she is. Justine's the same. It's all Disney's already built popularity. To those of you who think Justine is a boy, well, just hear "his" voice. There's no way a guy can sound like that.

How did this bit of "news" get on to a political blog anyway?

I disagree with you Kent. Justin Bieber is a very talented teenager. I'm sure he's made various sacrifices to become successful. One sacrifice would be getting home schooled instead of attending high school. Another sacrifice would be his social life. Justin probably doesn't see his friends as often as he would like to, but those are the sacrifices needed on the journey to becoming famous. Besides Justin, Miley Cyrus is an another talented teenager. Disney only hires teenagers that they think are talented and are able to succeed.

I think Democrats and Republicans can both agree that no one cares about Justin Bieber, bipartisanship at its finest.

Girls, here's a bit of advice: guys don't like other guys who get the spotlight in general. It has something to with jealousy and girls. You can fill in the blanks from there.

Yvonne, I know you're just standing up for the guy, but the fact that you defended Justin kind of justifies the hatred for him in most guys' minds. Their jealousy may not be valid, but it's just something that lives in their heads.

I hope everyone realizes that the super-rich are going to do whatever they want and, in the immortal words of Liberace, "laugh all the way to the bank". They honestly have so much money that they don't care what you think so you're really just advertising by even talking about them.

Just a side note... I highly doubt Disney hires on talent. More likely they hire on a mix of talent and looks.

AHAHAHH. I think that this is part of the reason why our society is so materialistic because kids often get the impression from young celebrities that cars, houses, and clothes should be the number one priority.

You would blog about this, Katrina, hahahah. Anyways, I don't think it's fair that Justin Bieber got a Range Rover. I suppose it seems normal for Usher to buy a Range Rover for Justin Bieber because he has the money to spend and to Usher, it's probably not a big deal. We're just blowing it out of proportion because 1) most of us are fed up with Justin Bieber, 2) a Range Rover is kind of a big deal to most of us, and 3) he can't drive. Clearly we can't compare our lives with celebrities.

I really enjoy how this post has the most comments out of all the other posts and this is supposed to be a political blog. Just putting that out there...

Franklin just GIVE IT UP. Hater. Why would you even waste your time reading this "non-political" blog when you could be spending your precious time browing the "government" section of the newspaper.
