...And I'm moving to Canada if Obama loses

If the prospect of Sarah Palin as president should something happen to John McCain doesn't scare you this might fuel the fire.

I'm probably just reiterating what people have said in previous comments under different blog entries but Palin's position as next in line for the presidency really makes me somewhat uneasy. Her disconcerting lack of knowledge concerning the Bush Doctrine and her "insights" into U.S. relations with Russia Federation (they're a federation now?) are a little unnerving.

The bit about going to war is the most unsettling bit. We're not even done with the one in the Middle East, how can we be considering a new one? Against a world power? With a nuclear arsenal? And besides, when has an invasion or war against Russia ever gone well? Hitler, Napoleon, etc. tried and were ruined because they tried to take down Russia. I kind of recall Mr. Corti saying in sophomore year that the Russians are cold, hard people who refuse to lose. A war with them... doesn't sound too great.

Moving to Canada seems a little extreme though. But at least you'd be able to say hi to Ms. Meyer =D

So I was reading Newsweek the What Women Want issue and the polls this week were on "The Power of Palin". One of the questions was "If you could vote for vice president seperately, whom would you vote for?" . The results stunned me because 46% of the people polled said Sarah Palin , while only 43% said Joe Biden...the other 11% were undecided. I can't believe that so many Americans are in favor of Sarah Palin when she doesn't even know about U.S. policies like the Bush Doctrine. Personally, i am afraid if she and McCain get elected because he is not exactly a young chap and she has a chance at becoming another ignorant president willing to go to war.

Canada is not bad...i heard it has free health care. :)
