Governor Palin's church was hit by arson Friday night. No one was hurt but it raises the question if it was done because someone was angry about the outcome of the elections and Palin not becoming the Vice President.I don't like her nor her ideals but if the fire was because of her 'failure', that's pretty harsh...then again Alaska's a harsh place to live in anyways. At least she had the courtesy to apologize if that was the motive of the fire.

I would say the fire would more likely have been set by someone who was happy Palin did not win the election not by someone angered that she lost. Secondly Alaska is not a "harsh place to live in" as someone who has lived in Alaska for a part of a summer, it is actually lovely place to live in if you have ever been there.
Wow i mean Sarah Palin has embarrased herself enough during the election and caused much frustration and hatred from everyone but to get her church bombed is like the icing on the cake. That is just one bad deal for Sarah Palin and i actually feel kind of bad. I agree with brian and i would say that someone would probably set fire to her church if they hated her instead of being frustrated about the election. Or maybe it was just a random act of destruction and it happened to be Palins church; who knows.
I don't understand the logic of burning down Sarah Palin's church because she did not win the vice presidency. If someone had such a desire for her to win, then no doubt he or she would have a good opinion about her. Though it's also extremely unnecessary to burn down Palin's church. I doubt it will truly affect her in anyway. I'm sure she's aware of the negative opinion formed on her by the public, yet that hasn't seemed to lessen her positive attitude.
I agree with Bryan. I think someone was pist that she didn't win. And most of the pictures and videos of Alaska look great. My auntie went on a cruise there and she said it was awesome. I think whoever did that to the church is pretty bad because thats where people go to practice their religion.
i agree with bryan i think that the fire was caused by somewhone that was happy that she didnt win. i dont like her ideals but if she had the courtessy to tell the people of her church that the bombing was her fault and that she was sorry well that is very honerable. however i wouldnt say that getting her church bombed was the icing on the cake from a bad campeign. i feel more that kinda bad for her. that is just horrible.
I think there is a very big chance that the church fire was related to Sarah Palin. I mean, considering the fact that she is the governor and Alaska's population is relatively small, most residents probably know which church she attends. Also, the cause of the church fire was probably a result of dislike for Palin. It doesn't really make sense to destroy the place that she practices her religion. Even though I myself do not support Palin, I admire the fact that she apologized for having a possible connection to the fire. It would also be nice if she helps to pay for the $1 million dollars in damages.
I think that if this is related to Palin, then whoever did it must be really mad at her to burn her church down. Especially since whoever started the fire did it when people were inside. People could have been really hurt.
I agree with Bryan too. I don't think a Palin supporter would set fire to the church because she lost. It would more likely be someone against Palin or it may not have been directed at her at all. Either way, that is really unfortunate and I feel bad for her.

I think whoever did it was an extremist who just lost his temper in the rage of the political debate. He/she is just release anger upon Sarah Palin, since she is a religious believer. Overall I'm glad that it was alright in the end with hardly any damage to us all.
pI do agree that the fire may have been set by someone that did not like palin's ideas or the way that she portrayed alskans ;but alaska a pleasant place? Really? I am not sure if everyone is aware but it is currently winter, and down here that means rain a bit of ice and shorter days, in alaska that means that there are few to no hours of light. It is grand that some of you know of have actually visited Alaska during the summer, but since that was when it is light outside the whole time you probably did not become affected by seasonal depression (which has a direct influence from light). So in the summer, yes alaska may be fantastic, but in the winter, I would personally rather be somewhere else. Some where that doesn't have a high incedence of depression or alchoholism.
