The missing Malaysian plane was just found. Unfortunately, it was discovered that the plane had crashed somewhere in the Indian Ocean. It is very unlikely anyone survived.
This is just so sad to me. To wait for so long and then find out that your loved ones died, would be crushing. The Guardian states that some relatives of the Chinese passengers accused Malaysia and the airlines for deceiving them and the world about the search. Do you think that this is a legitimate accusation?
It is not known why the plane crashed. Some suspect pilot suicide. According to CBS Local, "The plane’s disappearance has baffled investigators, who have yet to rule out mechanical or electrical failure, hijacking, sabotage, terrorism or issues related to the mental health of the pilots or someone else on board."
So what do you think about this situation? Do you think that the world could have done anything differently to find the plane sooner? Is this a case of bureaucratic failure, or human incompetence or just plain back luck?

When tragedy occurs in ones life, one often needs to lighten the load and blame someone else for what occurred. Most of the time these conjectures are filled with intense emotions, so I'm not sure I can say anything I have read or heard from the news is a legitimate accusation. Especially not right now since the news just broke out, only time will tell what actually happened. I'm not sure if the world could have done anything differently. I have heard rumors stretching to say that many governments had the technology to track the planes coordinates but did not want to reveal that they had the technology so they did not say anything. Only time will give us the answers I hope.
As Keith stated, in desperate times such as this one, people tend to be quick to point fingers and blame one another for an unfortunate event. In this case, people may be blaming the pilot for human incompetence, but I do not believe that this is the case. Perhaps the pilot was operating all the instruments correctly, but did not receive the correct responses. It is especially difficult to find a specific reason for this tragic ending because not everything has been thoroughly investigated yet.
