Dowd resigns as Trump's lawyer amid disagreements on strategy

Mueller team so far has indicated 4 main areas it wants to ask the President about

Summary: President Donald Trump's lead lawyer, John Dowd, has resigned from the President's personal legal team handling the response to the Russia investigation. Dowd preferred a more refined response to the Mueller investigation and wanted Trump to lay off the attacks of Mueller and the FBI.

Analysis: President Trump and his lawyers often have falling outs due to political strategy. However, Dowd has been the most integral part of Trump's legal team to date. As we know, Trump has a very 'independent' personality and often does not take advice from experts. To me, this is a real problem with Trump, as he is not the most knowledgeable person in every facet of his presidency.

Questions:

1. Do you believe Trump should follow the advice of his experts and legal council?
2. Do you think Trump's presidency will be hurt or helped by his 'independent' approach?
3. How do you feel about Trump's handling of the Russia investigation?

I believe that Trump should consider the advice given by his experts and legal council, but not follow it to the full extent. Obviously, his "independent" approach has hurt his presidency. Many media outlets do not approve the things that he does. There are lot of contrversies betweeen the people he work it.

I think Trump should try to listen to his advisers, as they have much more political expertise than him. But, this is Trump, and he will take his own path. His "independent" approach's effect on his presidency is yet to be determined, as if he makes the right choices and America benefits from it, people would say that it helped his presidency, with the same for the vice versa. Many people believe that he is emulating Nixon and covering up in the Russia investigation on his campaign, but it has yet to be determined. Firing Mueller would show that something fishy is going on, as he was appointed with support from both Republicans and Democrats in Congress.

I agree with the comments above that Trump should listen to his council. I personally think that with the firings/resignings (sp?) is further proof that his council wants to help Trump but his stubbornness is getting in the way of that.

In my opinion, Trump should definitely take advice from his experts. Trump is known to have an absurd way of responding to events and if he could learn how to handle situations better, it could possibly help relations with others. This independent approach is inefficient and is only increasing tensions, especially with North Korea.
