A war with North Korea would cause huge damage, but, because North Korea possesses few nuclear weapons, it is quite possible that US and world society would be able to weather the storm. I see the world economy as being the most at risk. However, if the US retaliated against a nuclear strike with its own nuclear arsenal, it’s hard to know what China’s reaction would be. Let’s cross our fingers that we don’t find out.
