On Saturday, Joe Biden announced his plans for members of the White House science team. Biden plans to move the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy to a Cabinet-level position for the first time. Taking a complete 180 when compared to Trump who spent a lot of time criticizing health and science experts' statements. Biden nominated Eric Lander to the newly promoted position. A position that, under Trump, was left empty for almost two years.
Biden's incoming chief of staff also announced that on Inauguration Day, Biden will sign multiple executive orders that will "extend the existing pause on student loan payments, re-join the Paris Agreement, and reverse the Muslim travel ban."
