Rolling Stone magazine published an interview with Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman . conducted by actor Sean Penn. Some of the highlights of the interview include that Penn was not blindfolded, unlike the hollywood stereotype of meeting with drug lords, there were many measures taken to keep their location and transportation secret, and Guzman looked as if he were coming for a professional interview being dressed in black jeans and a pressed silk shirt. Guzman also defended his drug cartel saying that the Mexican economy and lack of jobs left him with no other choice. His recent arrest after his second jailbreak may be linked to some communication Guzman had with this interview or his representatives contacting film makers about making a film about Guzman's life.
Questions:
1. How do you think Sean Penn's reputation will affected considering the fact that he and Rolling Stone hid this interview from the public for so many months.
2. Do you think that many people will actually look into and react to Guzman's comments that the weakness of the Mexican government causes people like him to go into businesses like drug trafficking
