Employment Situation Summary
Some good news comes out today as the February unemployment summary was released. The amount of persons currently unemployed decreased by about 300,000 lowering the unemployment rate down to about 5.5 percent. This months employments are significantly above the average of 266,000. A good sign for the recovering economy; however, there were 730,000 discouraged workers in the month of february. Not much meat to the article, but it does contain a lot of interesting data about the state of unemployment.
